About

011This is the blog of Sarah Ward, a crime fiction reader, blogger and reviewer.

I’ve been reading crime fiction for years. I looked recently at my copy of HRF Keating’s ‘Whodunnit’, which my mother bought for me when I was 13. I was already reading enough crime fiction to need a reference book to find new writers. And I’m still looking…..

As well as this blog, I review at crimesquad.com and Eurocrime and I like to support other bloggers in their reading and reviewing endeavours. So don’t be surprised if I pop up on your blog.

I’m one of the judges for The Petrona Award for the Best Scandinavian Crime Novel of the Year and I particularly love reading translated crime fiction.

I’m writing my first crime novel which is set in the Derbyshire Peak District where I live.

I hope you enjoy looking at the reviews on this blog. It’s great to have a passion – and books are mine. I also like to sing. But that’s another story.

If you would like to contact me about anything in my blog, or have any suggestions for books you would like to see reviewed, please fill out the contact form below.
